Snow, snow, snow!!

Okay. Well, first let me begin by saying... the weather here is ridiculous! It's almost spring, and it's been snowing in the morning for the past 2 days!! What on earth is giong on??

Hahaha.

These pictures aren't from the past few days, they're actually from Christmas. We had one of those crazy Hollywood moments where the radio was playing "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby, and I looked out the window and saw that it had just started to snow. Weird, huh? xD Anyway, I have a few pictures.

When it first started snowing:

And... after it had been snowing for a few hours:

This is our trampoline. Yeah, we have a protective net... otherwise, I'm sure I would have killed myself a few times already. Hahaha.

And, just because I like the picture, here is a picture of a big tree that is to the side of our house!Again, I'm not totally sure why I'm putting this picture up, but on well.

And that is snow! It's snowed quite a bit this winter, but unfortunately, not enough at one time to cancel work for me. Hahaha.

Christmas pictures to follow.

Christmas House

So... I can't remember how much time we put into decorating the outside of our house, but I know that it took me... I think 2 or 3 hours to do just the porch railing. My brother was supposed to help, and he did a little bit, but he retreated to the safety of the heated house after a little bit (it was about 1 degree Celsius when we were putting up the lights on the house. hahaha). It gets really cold here during winter. It doesn't usually snow, it just gets cold xD Bingna, my Chinese sister of whom I shall post some pictures soon, helped me with the porch.

Yeah, so Bingna and I did the porch, and my dad did the yard and the roof. Which is probably ten times harder than the porch.

Our house from the corner of the street:

This is our front door:

And finally, the view looking out from the front door. Ignore the wires :D Hahaha.

We like lights, what can I say? Haha. It actually snowed on Christmas day. I have to re-size those pictures, and I'll post them when that gets done. For now, I need to get going to bed. Gotta go to work in the morning.

Well, I hope this blog goes over well! I look forward to posting stuff.

Building and Trees

I was looking at all the pictures I could put on this blog, and I'm shocked at how many there are -_-; I'm going to be very, veeery busy. Hahaha. We're going to skip around a lot, chronologically. Because I have a bunch of pictures to post, and there's lots of stories to go with them.

But anyway! This is the building I work at. I'll put in some captions as I see fit. Basically, the building is big and ugly, but the plant life around the building is beautiful :) These pictures were taken in October, so our autumn season in Oregon (for you awesome Australians with the reverse seasons :P).

That last picture is right by our cafeteria. I like this tree :) Right now, since it's spring, the trees are starting to blossom with pink and white little flowers. I'll take some pictures in a couple weeks, when the trees are all in bloom. That's my favorite.

I'm going to post a few pictures of my house at Christmas time xD Just because... I can? Haha. That's the next post.

Wells Fargo

I'm not going to give the name of the building that I work at, because I think that that's a little too much information to put on a website. But, I do work at Wells Fargo. Our mascot is, basically, a stage coach. (Because Wells Fargo Bank was founded in the 1800's.) Haha. Here's a picture of a Wells Fargo stagecoach, as well as our logo:

Well, that's nice, isn't it? :D Haha. Well, I'll put some pictures of the building I work at in the next post.

Because of Australia...

I feel like I'm not doing very well at keeping in contact with everyone that I care about. I mean, a lot is going on in my own life, and I definitely want to hear about everyone else's adventures as well. I've decided that, since my Australia blog was pretty successful, I'll try to keep up a regular picture blog. I'll start in the next post with pictures of the building that I work at (because the outside is really very pretty).

Basically, I'm starting this blog in honor of the people I love. I really want you guys to know that, even though I don't make the effort nearly as much as I should to keep in touch with everyone, that I really do care about you.

So, with this introduction over... let's begin with the posts!
